SESTERTii inc has been asked to identify a candidate for the role
of Relay Technician III in beautiful and sunny Florida! The selected applicant
will harbor an associate’s degree, or equivalent technical degree or related
experience, as well as seven (7) years’ experience working with relays:
installing, testing, calibrating and troubleshooting (both solid state and
electromechanical).
This position is responsible for
installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining all transmission,
substation, and distribution RELAY control systems. This position is on call 24
hours a day on a rotating basis.
Position Responsibilities:
• Provide ongoing maintenance of all
transmission and substation protective relay systems.
• Troubleshoot and make repairs on
transmission and substation protective relay systems as needed.
• Install, perform acceptance testing and
commission new equipment for protective system replacement or expansion.
• Maintain effective working relationships
with employees at all levels within clients organization. Ensure smooth
operations, productive communications, and effective understanding during all
interpersonal contacts. Provide current and accurate information to all
requesters, courteously and in a timely manner.
