SESTERTii inc has been retained to identify an exemplary PMP-type
Project Manager with experience in utility construction. We are not seeking an
on-site type of PM however, but a soup-to-nuts, high-view PM with the
capability to taking vacant land through the process (rick assessment, scope,
timelines, etc.). We require a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering, or
related, and minimally eight (8) years of related technical and project
management experience in a construction environment or electric utility (including
project management experience in Transmission and Distribution). We are seeking
demonstrable project management effectiveness leading cross-functional teams to
successful completion of electrical engineering and/or construction projects.
The selected candidate will provide
management for multimillion dollar, multi-year (large and complex)
distribution projects associated with our clients 10-year plan. Manage a
defined program of electric system projects for which engineering and/or
construction may be provided principally by external resources (contractor/consultant).
Participation in the development and
implementation of PM process improvements across the company will be required. Additional
responsibilities will include:
- · Providing project management leading, coaching and mentoring to project-team members;
- · Serving as assistant PM for other large, complex projects or programs.
